For my first community event I had the awesome opportunity to hear Nellis Kennedy-Howard speak about equity, inclusion and justice in the outdoors.
She spoke from her experiences as a queer, Native women to highlight how race, gender and sexual orientation impact experiences in the outdoors. It was honestly incredible to hear her thoughts and perspectives.
