A few weeks ago, I went to the Special D at Muwekma. It was great to have the opportunity to spend time with the Native community in a relaxed setting with good food.
The second event that I attended was at the NACC when Kawena got her tattoo. This event was super fun, because it was during Parent's Weekend and brought several generations together to celebrate the vibrate ways that indigeneity it still alive in our communities.
