"I'm just here." - Joe Little

Feeling adventurous, Jade Joe and I bundled up and made our way to the beach for a quick study break on Friday before finals. We almost ran out of gas (the gas light came on!), but we made it to Pescadero State Beach where Jade and I dipped our toes in the water while Joe made sure no one/nothing snuck up on us. The night sky was clear and the stars were especially shimmering (not like in NM tho...) We sat on the tailgate and called out falling stars while we randomly thought about having ice cream. Alternately, we could have studied that night, but it was a great call to get away from campus and take a moment to simply be present, still underneath the moonless abyss. As probably the oldest person in the house (#elderstatus), I'm super thankful to drive these two on spontaneous adventures and listen to on-point music. #community
