I visited Alcatraz for the indigenous peoples day ceremony. Here we were able to see a number of different cultures in what I would consider a sacred location. The entrance to the ceremony early in the morning on the boat was something I will always remember. Also, being able to see so many people unite for what they believe in was beautiful.
