Had a wonderful time talking and catching up with the amazing Kawena today during lunch! I hope to spend more time at Muwekma next quarter :D

Something else I'm looking forward to next year is the annual Pow wow at Stanford! I've been going and volunteering with the event since Freshmen year. Growing up, I never interacted with the Native community, and I was not aware of the modern issues Native Americans face every day until I came to Stanford and met people from the Native community. The Pow wow is a chance for me to see the beauty, strength and diversity of different tribes. See y'all there!
